Water Water Everywhere

As the temperature rises so does our desire to be outside. We recently visited the fountains to have some fun. It's so enjoyable to watch him frolic in the water.
At first he eases in, even on his tippy toes, every once in awhile looking back at me, for assurance to proceed.

Once his toes are wet, he pushes forward. Taking his time, he flirts a bit with the water.

And after just a few more minutes, he is drenched.
Others watch him as he runs through the water like a wild animal, screaming and giggling as he succumbs to the call of the fountain.

All the while, I sit on the sidelines, heart melting, enjoying every minute just as much as he does.

Until he finally just stands there shivering, asking, without words, to be wrapped in a dry fluffy towel and be taken home for a nap.
