Holding Hands

A few weeks ago my good friend Chris came over for a day of fun. We visited, went to the pool and had a delicious dinner together. After the pool, we came home so that I could feed Sunny and get ready for our dinner. During that time, Chris stayed in our living room watching TV with Eli and Aaron.

Side note - Eli always loves for me and Aaron to hug and kiss. When we're all hugging, he'll push my head and Aaron's head together and say "Kiss Mama, Daddy!" It's the same when we're all sitting together. He'll push all of our hands together, his included, and we'll sit there holding hands. He's all about togetherness, that kid.

BACK TO THE STORY!

So, Chris is sitting on one end of the couch, Eli's in the middle, and my husband is at the other end. Eli takes Chris' hand and Aaron's hand and puts them together in his lap. Wanting them to hold hands. His hands are in the mix too.

At dinner, Chris shared this story with me and it melted me. His innocence and pureness was reminded to me. He's just a small child in this big world and wants us all to hold hands and kiss and hug. It sounds like the perfect world to me.
